    Air Supension Problem

I have a 1992 Grand Marquis LS and everytime I get in the car and drive about 20-30 min my air supension light comes on. Has anyone else had this problem?

As you drive the system automatically adjusts ride height. If the compressor runs excessively long (more than 45 seconds - 1 minute) the system shuts off the compressor to keep from burning it out. It then turns on the "Check Air Suspension" light to let you know there is a problem.

My guess would be you have a slow leak in the air ride system. Most likely place would be one, or both, of your rear air springs. You can check the bags with soapy water. Support the car on ramps or jack stands and look for cracks in the rubber near the bottom where it folds under. Cover the cracks with the soapy water and look for bubbles.

Does the car "sink" over night or if you leave it parked for long periods?

              Hi ImportsSuck

If your car doesn't vent when you switch off and get out, it sure sounds like you may have a siezed vent solenoid, I am not sure how much like a Town Car the Grand Marquis is but check out this link http://www.lincolnsonline.com/article61.html for some diagnostic help.

              Regards

PS My Town Car is an Import, does it also suck?
