    Should fit pretty well, and since it's not a DOHC motor, not nearly as much width to deal with.

    Where in PA are you? I'd love to see this thing!


    You might want to beef up the axle... The wagon guys are more prone to blow the diffs apart because of the added traction.

      sweet!
      you should be able to use aero panther engine mount brackets and mounts.....i put a 5.0 in a 92 grand marquis, and the 5.0 motor mounts bolted right in.

      1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt
      2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature. Stock for now
      1989 Ford F-250 4x4 much much more to come, sefi converted so far.
      1986 Toyota pickup with LSC wheels and 225/60/16 tires.
      2008 Hyundai Elantra future Revcon toad
      1987 TriBurner and 1986 Alaska stokers keeping me warm. (and some pesky oil heat)

        Yep I remember reading that. He said the V10 is the same length as the 302.

          Ahh Cool man! My uncles truck has the Ford V10 in it. I love the way it sounds. It has a nice lil rev to it as well. Not to mention it'll spin the hell outta the tires. I hope you can take on this poject. That would be sweet man. Cant wait!

            Running the exhaust like that makes the rear window useless FYI.

                    Yep. Why do you think the factory has it exit behind the tire? Or pretty much any pickup, or vehicle that has a rear window that can open.

                        I want to see this done.

                                Hello Everyone,First...Thanks for all the great comments!...And your right the rear window down was just like riding in a gas chamber!...but the FLOWMASTERS sounded sweet!.....WAGONS RULE!...I grew up in a wagon family.Many trips across the nation and the window stickies to prove it!...The first "Car" My folks had was a 73 Grand Marquis brogham 2 dr. with a 429 4v..I think c6 and 3.55 trac-loc 9 inch rear...The time line..I'm 16 yrs old...Pops new car....offered to wash it alone! What did I do? Run to the quarter car wash , pop the hood...and...Flip the aircleaner lid over!the only way to let the four barrels SING!....Well the Mercury was in Me!...So WingFoot has been a nic name for some time,I also have a good collection of Mercurys,of course the wagon,And My first car,a70 Cougar,and a 82 RS Capri 5.0.....In My youth,I've had more cars than I can remember!But one that was the most fun car I'd built,was a 74 Pinto Wagon.....the four banger gave it up around 55k..bad cam,missed oil pass hole on the lobe..from the factory!...So I performed a heart/ lung on it with a 289 4v ,and 3.08 trac-loc rear end from a 66 mustang...The rear fit right on the leafs like FoMoCo planed it!..I had also put a 4 speed trans.from a 66 cyclone with a 390 hipo 4v..It was a big input, big output close ratio top loader with a Hurst comp plus shifter...total up wt.2900lbs/245hp=white knuckels!....But that was then and this is now...To get to the point,putting the v10 in the wagon is just following the Big engine/Little car syndrome...Only on a little bit bigger scale!....WingFoot....
