    1995 Ford Exploder

This is what I'm now tooling around in. It's a '95, 4wd, 4.0. Nothing overly fancy. It actually belongs to my roomate but he has been kind enough to give me control of it. It already has an Xplod deck in there. I'll be digging out my Xplod amp and sub to throw in. The fogs were laying in a toolbox along with the plate frame.

Long story short, it needed tires. I scored for free a set of 265/75/16s off a 2001 Exploder Sport. They knocked the speedometer off about 6-7 mph. They also were about 4" taller than the stock 235/75/15s so my rig sits much higher than other Exploders around this area. Enough talk, here are the pics.

It is ironic, lol. I'm just glad to be rolling on Goodyear Wranglers and not Firestone Wilderness tires, lol.

Nice! My mom has a 95 two door Explorer. They are good trucks. Only complaint I have is the third break light ballast problem.

I don't like the faded metal trim on the hatch and doors. At some point before it gets too cold, I need to do some masking and paint that crap.

We have that problem as well...Just not as severe as yours. BTW I like the color of your Explorer.

Thanks! I'm thinking of taking some silver paint to the door sills to make them stand out a bit. Time to break out the sponge, lol.
