Love it. Wonder if you could fit a VW diesel in there....

Probably, though the ef chassis has the smallest engine bay. But I suppose if a k series and an h series fit, the diesel wouldn't be a problem.

An old 1.6L NA diesel would probably fit no problem. Nice find though, I love those style Hondas, they pretty much dont exist up here in good shape though....

Yeah most of them you see back in ohio have the typical honda rot, on the quarters where it meets the bumper. This one is solid as a rock, ugly, but solid lol.

Had to have come from the West or South going by the lack of rot and the interior. Nice find. Pretty much impossible finding one here not riced out and/or rotted.

Will a J32/35 fit in there? :smirk:

Technically yes lol, under the hood no haha. It's a not so daily driver friendly swap since it sticks through the hood, but it would definetly boogie, a j35 usually puts down about 260hp to the wheels and 220ftlbs at the wheels, and my little 4 door tips the scales at about 1900lbs lol.

To tell you the truth if it gets a swap, it will get a 99-00 non-vtec b20, with a b16,gsr, or type r tranny. That combo should be able to knock off a low 14 sec pass and still get 40mpg no sweat.

lol ... #5 has got to be the biggest thing compared to anything from the '60s! Also lots less ugly than most '60s cars I've seen.

So ........ when's the Integra or VTEC swap happening?

If it gets a swap, and thats a big if lol. It will get a b20 from a 99-00 crv and a b16 tranny.

I am going to try my best to avoid the urge to swap lol. I just wanna clean it up, replace and upgrade some stuff on the interior, and maybe some wheels/tires and coilovers.
