I must say. I saw this car in person on the weekend and it is definately in show room condition. It looks like it just rolled off the assembly line.

I have been away for quite a while perparing the 64 for "Performance World 2011" in toronto.

the 64 took first in its class. Not sure the show was worth all the work but it was a good 3 days.

Anyway now that thats all over i have been tinkering with the mercs again. i have not had much time to work out the build sheet and options but i am getting there. However we did find out that this car and the wagon are 500 VIN#s appart with Aug. 81 build dates. Both from the St. Louis MO. assembly plant. When the weather improves i am planning on a trip to the dealership in mississauga ontario that sold the car new to see if there is anyhing i can find out.

i had the car checked for safety. the 30 year old tires had to be replaced but that was it. no complaints. i saved the original tires. also the mercs qualify for historic liscence plates this year so i am going to buy a set for each car.

                    more to come soon

Hey you want a band aid fan for that? I friend gave it to me but it sounds like ass so thought it'd be perfect for you. If no one buys it i'm just gonna smash it with a hammer.
