yikes...I really like dealing with a local parts store for some stuff because it works out to be the same price in the end (stuff like brake parts etc) with shipping from RockAuto, but a new coil pack is 79 bucks. Plug wires are 111 bucks. Internet shopping FTW.

Anyone know if it would be a good idea to prime the oiling system in the motor before actually starting it? It'll be fresh oil with a mostly empty filter and the car hasn't been started in fuck knows how long.

Don't know how it'd work on a car with two coil packs but on a car with a dizzy I'd just pull the one coil wire and turn it over a few times.

      what say you?

i've cleaned big pieces but as long as the windshield is still in there it's throwing little bits everywhere.

i'm gonna drop the rear end from the 95, give it new bearings/seals/brakes and put it underneath my 90. the 90 is going to get the hpp wheels as well. i might have a whole mess of 1995 crown vic parts to get rid of soon.
