Premium Sound amp location
Stupid location is an understatement!!! When our PSound quit I had a bear of a time finding/getting to it. A few screws? I had 2+ handfuls of attaching hardware before finishing disassembly. Ground wire rusted; easy fix; reassembly not!! Why Ford would put a sensitive electronic part in the highest humidity environment they could find boggles my mind. It's a miracle they function for any length of time. Ours eventually puked again; every one I found @ a wrecker was worse. The engineer who designed that should have been stuffed in there w/ the amp.
