Must be your 97 in that pic, is it?

the 84 looks pretty stripped down...any idea what it weighs? any other plans to make it go quicker?

                        Bad ass car!!

Here is a stupid question: What is the purpose of a T handle on the valve covers? I saw this the other day on a picture of a 400 CID in a datsun. I am assuming it must be like a quick release thing.....but I'm trying to understand the purpose of someone wanting to frequently remove the valve covers.

                        Thanks!

                              Ok to answer some questions:

                              Engine:
Basically stock 84 302. Heads massaged a little bit. Performer 289 intake. mustang shorty headers. Quadrajunk 4bbl (hey, was free). Performance HEI Dist (for ease of setup)

can run into the 14's tho not very consistently. Most consistent at about 16 (it's setup for bracket racing so this works well)

It did have A/C originally, but it never worked when I got it. The car was a massive mess when I bought it, to the point where fixing things properly that were rigged caused it to run worse! (didnt help that at least 4 cylinders had busted rings and were dumping oil into the intake)
