Outside didn’t look that bad in the pics considering that’s its a daily driver from frozen salt land. But underneath...

A buddy of mine had a 91 GT in the Cayman(?) Green color. It had the 1.8 DOHC and was a very well balanced car considering the price. He sold it for basically nothing, saying that it had too many miles... at 130,000 we’ll cared for miles. I got a bit mad at him and told him that if he was giving it away, I would have gladly paid for it.

Over all the car was damn good looking for being a daily driver in all types of weather since 1994.

The rear wheel wells were giving out FAST though. I did a repair to one side (the passengers side) back in 2010. At that time that was the only rusty area (small little bit just behind the door) but over the past years rust sprouted ALL over the wheel wells. I had cut out patch panels for JY cars with clean bodies for a repair but never got around to it. Also the jy panels would not have been big enough anymore to fix the rusted areas lol.

I really loved this car. I did a TON of work to it, not only cosmetic but suspension related items. It was really fun to drive, nice and compact and a beast in the snow.

It served its purpose. Move on and let it sleep. You got that Mercedes to take its place.

I'm in the same process with my Ranger; windshield leaks enough to make a puddle on the passenger side floor; steering box died over the winter; and some sensor is tripping the check engine light even though it runs no different than it did a year ago. I hate to see it go because of its usefulness, but there are bigger and better things out there.
