Very cool. Do my eyes decieve me, or is that an AC compressor? If so, extra cool points for having air conditioning.

Your eyes are deceiving you. The AC is cut at the heater box by the looks.

That definitely looks like it's all there. It even has a bag on it for protection.

I have no clue as to why though, as I can see vent windows which are far superior to that over complicated, headache inducing BS known as air conditioning.

                        I think that's an alternator?

If it was a vic or a grand marquis, this would be true. However, the 'vent' windows on a towncar go down, not out, so it doesn't draw air in like it's cheaper counterparts.

I was trying to figure it out. The fins make me think alternator but I don't know much about anything.

So, exactly how much KY did it take to get that monster you call an engine into it's new home.

Also I think that tire wear might become an issue.

Very, very cool, I'm diggin the sleeper angle too.

The engine fit easily. Just like in Ron's presidential limo. The air cond. compressor is painted blue on the drivers side. I will make all of the hoses myself so it will look neater then oem. I just have the evaperator end covered till I get around to flushing it and installing a new orifice tube. Alternator is black on the pass. side. I'm afraid to put good tires on!! I want it to spin rather then ripping out the drive train. I think it is called click click racing is a good place to look for good tips on how to build up an AOD. They were soooo weak in stock form but there are better clutches and more clutches can be added Then harder input shaft no lockup many things to beef it up a little. Or go to Lentec's website and buy a bullet proof aod!!
