O2 sensor harness' and HO ecms

    http://forums.corral.net/forums/gene...fferences.html

Information to cram into your heads regarding the incompatability of some O2 harness wiring and certain ECM's. May not come into play for your car, but good to know if you ever run across somebody having an issue.

    Alex.

I know this because people have fried manual ecms using an Auto harness. Not much point in running a manual ecm in an auto car anyway, since the Auto ones have more advance at idle.

It does if someone runs a manual computer it does.

Or decides to swap to a manual trans.

It may not apply directly to our cars, but given the swaps some people do, it could provide some insight into a possible problem as its not something one immediately would suspect as being a problem.

No, it doesn't. Mustangs use a different 02 harness than the panther chassis.

he's right but it's still good info..
Give a man a fish and he will be fed for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will promptly forget that he once did not know, and proceed to call anyone who asks, a n00b and flame them on the boards for being stupid.
