Frame width?

Hi there. I am looking for the dimensions for a 1983–1991 Grand Marquis frame. I have the wheel base and overall width of the car, but I really need to know the width of the frame itself and if it is a straight frame or how high it bends up around the axle or not. Could anyone help me out with this please?

The Chassis is pretty much the same 79-02, Not very much has changed other then suspension and a few braces. if you just need dimensions then this info may help you out in finding what you need...Hopefully

Ford/Mercury: 114.3" wheelbase
Lincoln: 117.3" wheelbase

I've never thought to measure any of that stuff, mostly because I run my Box Panther frames under their original bodies. I wonder if it might help to share what you have in mind for your Panther frame project?

Frame is about 48" wide were the frame goes over the rear axle. Between the torq boxes its wider. Also narrower after the loop over rthe rear axle. The front narrows after the torq box then wides again just before the rad support.
