Does anyone have any input on what can cause an intermittent high idle? Its on a 88 grand marquis 5.0, seems to only be when its cold. I know when I start it in the morning it'll idle high like it supposed to but every once in a while it won't drop down, it also won't start some mornings either without me giving it some gas to keep it running. I ran a scan tool on it and the only codes I got were 44 and 94, I have all the air pump equipment removed so I know thats where thats coming from. As far as I know there is no vacuum leaks, and so far the TPS and bank one o2 sensor have been replaced and I got the EGR valve to work within the past few months. Could the IAC possibly be sticking with the cold weather? Does anyone know what I could test to figure out what the problem is?
Thanks for the help!!!
