140 mph 1989 Crown Vic speedometer.

Looks great, 17k something on the odo, excellent except of course the gear selector ring is broken where they always break. On my 85 I fixed it with a hose clamp.

It was a JY pull so I didn't see it in operation. Car was pretty darn clean and looked well taken care of. Needle moves when shaft is spun. I will guarentee it to work properly of course.

Pics within a couple days. You can take my description to the bank. $70 + frt, 10% to GMN. Very well packed of course. PM me.

Will trade for a 98-02 CPVI steering gearbox! Until I go get one

          Down to $50.

I should've stuck a pencil or something in the broken bit of the shaft ring just to show it clearly.

Do you need a shift cable then Sly? I know there's a coupla later boxs in my local pullapart, next time I'm there I can pull a speedo and try to figure out how to disconnect one if you wish.

the cable loops over the indicator needle in the speedo, though I think I also need the needle. It would be nice to know what gear I'm in by a glance instead of shifting into neutral and back to OD.

I LOVE those wide, 140 MPH Speedometers but too much effort to retro fit into my '87 GM or I would!

Remove the steering column cover on the bottom. There's a white collar going down the shaft. By loosening the bolt and rotating it left or right, you can adjust the indicator. If it's broken, you do the same thing, except to hold it in place you use zipties...

Pulled a MGM cluster this weekend in a vain attempt to get a cable. It doesn't have an access point, and I also broke the ring into about 8 pieces

I didn't have time to pull a different one. Does anyone know if a 85 mph CV speedo has the access?

And, buy my stuff! Make an offer.
