Im sure it's been asked before but what is the widest tire that'll fit on a 15" stock turbine wheel? I have some 275/60-15 on the back with 235/70s on the front right now with goofy aftermarket wheels. Any advice? Thanks!

i would'nt go bigger than a 245/60/15's on turbines, they are only 6.5" wide

Had 275/60/15s on mine and did not like the look!! The rim looked lost in the rubber!!'88' MGM wagon (mine and my sons toy)

The stock 215/70 really isn't bad on stock wheels, you don't want them to be super wide because then they flex a lot on turns. Mine stay fairly stable on turns, and if I don't buy aftermarket wheels i'm gonna stay with this size, also due to them being cheaper. yeah I don't think you'd actually benefit in terms of grip past 235 on a stock wheel. maybe 245 (I bow to Scott's experience). The sidewall is already overly big and soft on these cars. Making it try to support tread that's on the outside of the beads doesn't help matters.

I'm not really too concerned with the stability. I just think a fat tire looks tough. I think the wheels on it are 15x8. I'll try to find a picture of themComment

everythign depedns on taste and wat you want it to do, on an aftermarket rim the 27/60 dont look to bad
