    Floor Shifter

I was thinking of putting a floor shifter in my CV. What all would be needed to make it work? I have seen many guys do this. One major reason to this is b/c I'm 6'5 and the gear shifter hits my knee often and it's annoying.

i have a B&M Pro Stick in my car. you just need the shifter, it should come with the cable. then you will need the AOD bracket for it, and the proper shifter gate.

then you have to mount it to the floor and drill a hole big enough to feed the cable through

I used the B&M Light Truck Megashifter the only one listed for use with a AOD. A specal kit is needed to change out the position of the quadrent in the trany. Chose the truck version because the angle of the shifter using the car version felt bad. Didnt feel like something from the factory should feel or would approve. Modified the mounting bracket and it felt egonomikly correct. Took a little work but was worth it. Click image for larger version

        Finished product.

Havent done it yet but figure the cable can be attached to move the in dash factory position indicator.
