            Heck when I was a kid my dad would stuff the old 73 Satellite wagon to the gills with us & friends. I'm surprised he never tied any of us to the roof rack.

            As recently as 04 I had 4 in the front, 5 in the back, and 3 in the backback (mostly kids) of a 96 Roadmaster wagon for a 45 minute drive.

                  nice! Wonder if that guy in PA still has his red-and-maroon wagon... always wanted red leather seats.

                  What threw me off: I know a 1989 or prior MGM, and colony park wagon, has a square speedo... and 1990+ has a wider rectangular speedometer. At least, my sister's 89 has a square speedo and my 1990 does not. That's why I thought the date was wrong.
                  So was it the fords that also have a wider ratio speedometer, at an earlier date?

                      Me too. There's a couple of pics early black/red colony parks in that history pdf I posted in the wagon section. I'd love to find one with that color combo. The dark color looks best with the wood siding.
