I saw that relisted, be aware, the guy has been trying to sell it for probably over a year off and on. One thing that was in the old ad(s) that is conveniently left out now is "Noisy motor." It is an '80 so there's a chance it had the 351, and it does have tubular upper? control arms (stronger) for that year only. But yeah, the motor isn't worth keeping anyway unless it's a 351. Check for rust/frame condition and all that, HO/Exploder swap and enjoy if you get it for a good OBO price. That year 302 is CFI iirc and a measly 129-130hp.

Aside from the first year (1980) when everyone didn't want any downsized Mark VIes, my '82 is the rarest year of all two doors, at least by model year, lowest production overall. I'm too lazy to look up the production numbers for each designer series model. Plus with it being repainted, who knows what rust or bondo or crap could have been hidden. Just because it's low mile doesn't mean it wasn't salted and stored in a heated garage.

according to the PO before me... it was garage kept. But other than the rust I pointed out to you and the MAACO looking paint job, I wouldn't trust any history on that car. It does look good though.

That '73 looks to have 8 track, groovy. I wouldn't pay $3,500 for it but I laughed when they had it up for $5,000, as if that will motivate people to buy that Krylon'd heap.
