The GMN Store - Under New Management

Fellow GMNers, mangs and womangs, direct your attention here!

This is the new URL for the GMN store. Here soon the current link on the header of the forum will be updated to reflect this change.

As of now, I will be managing the shop and updating it with new designs and so forth. I have plans and ideas for new t-shirts and items that will trickle through the store as fast as time allows me to create them. And I would also like to bring back the annual ScottFest shirts when the time comes. Hopefully with some of these new designs, it will also help spread the word about our forum and gather some new interest with the new gear.

When you visit the new store, you'll see that there is a brand new design already available...a grand opening bonus. The first new designs will be of this theme. At least two other shirts will follow this format, one for the Crown Vic and one for the Town Car.

That being said, I want to use a wide variety of members cars for designs; however, I do not have access to large high-quality photos of everyone's cars. So in addition to this announcement, I am also requesting that all members break out their cameras and take hi-res photos of their cars at a similar angle to the above to be considered in the next shirts. In the future I will be asking for other specific angles as well, so frequently look for threads pertaining to such.

All members who wish to be considered for the next designs, email me a large (very big, 5-6MP if possible) photo of your car to the email linked from my profile. I will take all Panther models: Crown Vic, Town Car, Mark VI, and Grand Marquis for possible future designs as well.

Thank y'all for your time and in advanced for the photos. I look forward to being able to contribute more to the amazing forum and community that is GMN.

Glad to see there's some interest!

Jason, thanks for the pictures. I'm not sure about the push bar one...it's kind of dark. But the second one is great and a very aggressive angle. I will make sure to save them both for possible future use.

And of course, I am always open to any suggestions, ideas, and other comments.

I like it Scott. I think I may submit a picture. Wouldn't mind having the vic on a shirt or something.

Actually is there anything you can do with these. I may still have them on my camera...if not I do not know what I can do.

I'm not sure it's in worthy condition, but there's lots of high-res shots from different angles in my reader's ride. I'm broke right now but there's some cool stuff on there.

According to CafePress, my design infringes on Intellectual Property Rights...hundreds of other Ford designs (including plain logos and modern cars) on their website that had to meet their approval, and my blurred out Mercury flags it.

I'm currently on going email discussion with a CafePress Content Usage Associate. Depending on the outcome of this, things may have to change all together...

I haven't gotten a response back yet from CafePress as to why the image was removed and not approved like so many others that used a real vehicle.

So until then, I'm replaced it with this design.

Need to get people thinking there's more to these cars than just good looks and luxury.

We may be better off with someone other than CafePress. I, personally use http://www.bluecotton.com . It's a LOT cheaper, great quality & because of computerized printing 19 shirt order is cheaper per shirt than a 20 piece order.

You can check out some of my designs here http://www.sexcpotatoesdesigns.com/a.../tshirt-design, I've had some made, some I haven't pulled the trigger on yet.

I also had some 'Text And Drive/Text And Die' shirts made most recently: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sexcpotatoes/6035272648/

Cut down on the black border a bunch and that would be a killer sticker!
