Deciding whether or not I wanna put in high flow cats once I gut the primaries so it looks like I have all 4 so I don't have to get my buddy to inspect it every year. Not too sure if I wanna go that route or just leave it the way it is. Either way I'm gonna have to have him do it this year since my inspection runs out next month

Just get OEM heat shields and weld them around 4 highflows so it looks stock. I have a Thunderbolt cat on my truck, hardly tell it's there as far as performance and sound goes.

Don't gut the cats and leave them on, the open cavity creates turbulence so it flows bad and sounds real bad. Plus you can scrap OEM cats (not aftermarket) for a few bucks if you leave them intact.

If you want 2 cats, I think there's a website that sells dummy cats, basically just shells you can run a pipe through, and you can have those welded in where the primary cats go.

Purchase T-45 (decided against motor swap)

well, its time to clean Leroy out and get some paperwork signed. as sad as i am to say it, hes gotta go. i swore up and down the last time he left me stranded on the side of the road that next time it happened, i was gonna get rid of him. saturday i had a terrible missfire on the way to work and i went to run a powerbalance after i clocked out and the parking brake locked up. with everyone gone and my small amount of tools i wasnt able to get him out of the shop until monday morning. my coworker is gonna buy him from me once he gets the money. so its farewell to ol Leroy.

I understand, man. You have to keep your word. I hope he goes to a good home, someone who can really make him into hot rod luxury sedan you always wanted him to be. From what I recall, he was a bit neglected when you got him.... and as we know with neglected cars (even mild cases!), it only goes downhill from there. Hope you can pick up a well-kept example in the future, or just buy one cheap for a project (obviously want to finish paying for the Camry before doing this, assuming you haven't done so yet) and DD the 2010 Camry.

Good luck with the sale. You're still welcome to hang out here, even if you're Panther-less.

From what it sounds he's gonna be supercharging it and doing a whole bunch of stuff to it. He also said he'd let me drive it when he's done. Yeah it was really neglected (kinda like the '98 camry I had) and it really went down hill. I'll get another one whenever the time and money is right, I can't go too long without a panther, hahaha!
