      01 should already have the pi heads

      1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt
      2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature. Stock for now
      1989 Ford F-250 4x4 much much more to come, sefi converted so far.

        01s already have the PI intake manifolds and heads.
        Throttle body spacers don't do anything.
        I'd get a better flowing intake plenum. Like C&L or Trick Flow. And a bigger throttle body. If you can find a 99-03 E-Series van in the Junkyard, apparently they have the 69.7mm throttle bodies. It's essentially a 70mm throttle body for cheap. Or you can buy a BBK, Accufab or whatever other brand throttle body.

        It might also be time to move tires up your list.

          yeah, it was in my buddy's driveway which is normally dirt but apparently there was a layer of mud underneath that i didnt see, pulled in too fast and spun, really emberassing

              ill have to see if i can find one at the pick a part, im sure therell be one there. thanks! yeah tires would be a good idea, wont have money for em till sometime in the spring so thats gonna have to wait, haha. thankfully ill only have to buy 2 since the 2 on the front have 75% tread left on em.

                      just ordered myself a optima red top, seein as the current battery has been in for 6 years and barely cranks the motor at this point

                        battery died overnight last night. gonna run out and grab a multimeter to check for a draw, only problem is my new battery dont come in till next friday

                                really wanna do some work this weekend, hopefully that battery does come in friday so i can pull him into the garage and start huntin down the headlight issue. thinkin its the lcm seein as the high beams dont work neither. if thats the case i'll have to run out to harbor freight and pick up a solderin iron and order some new relays. also wanna hunt down the power steering leak and change the oil before it gets too cold. thank god for carhartt jackets and hand warmers!


                                also found out it has no parasitic draw, and that battery was completely toast!put my meter on it i watched the voltage drop from 12.23V to 10.86V in a matter of 2 minutes. makes sense seein as the battery is 6 years old
