    I have home made ones. Us marine engine guys get to hug hot engines, so they are useful. lol

      I would make them home made as well, maybe not as good as the kevlar material but good enough for me. I guess I've just never done anything that would require these, or just put on a long sleeved shirt if I needed them.
      I suppose they may also be useful for welders.

          They remind me of my 1988 County Squire. Same color, but mine didn't have the cornering/ditch lights, didn't have turbines, and I had had the severe duty seats (forgot what they're called, part vinyl/part durable fabric).
          If I had the money for either of them my 91 MGM would be gone in a heartbeat.
