    My new baby - 1979 LTD-S

I picked this car up about a month ago, it was kind of an impulse buy. I'm glad I snatched up a clean 2-door. 64k miles. Everything works, even the AC. The only thing wrong with it, is the dashpad is cracked and the headliner is falling.

Yeah, for a long while, I dont post much here obviously. I do some searches from time to time for information... but a 1979 LTD-S is just too good not to share here too. I wish I had the opportunity to get tons of photos, but the day after i got it home it was a freaking blizzard, and has been ever since... so it's just parked in the pole barn right now.

Nice car! This must be the third or fourth mint green early coupe we have on here. Good luck with it!

I didn't know the LTD-S came with factory fog lamps! That's pretty neat.

                      Awesome Box!

My '80 slicktop tudor is factory painted with the Metallic version of that green. It does tend to grow on you after awhile, and I don't think I would paint my car any other color now for the repaint.

Wow nice! Full vinyl top, and center mounted license plate! Those rims look unique too. Great find, when the snow melts please post up more pictures! What engine does it have?

-L1011tristar17, they technically are running lights, as they cant be switched on and off independently.

it doesn't... those are parking lamps.

I do miss the 79 LTD-S 351 that my mom had. I don't miss the vinyl interior though.

                          It was maroon/maroon
