My 87 was my first car. When I first joined I had an accident with it, idiot illegal alien blew a stop sign and said "hello" with my passengers side door and quarter. I began to love the car after looking for YEARS for a replacement door and began doing the bling bling stuff. like lights and stereo. After time though I tore out the bling and just began adding all the tasteful modifications you can read about if you click my signature pic. I really love and am happy with my car now and days and I look back now at some of the silly things I have done to it.

i cant say i dont like the Merc.. shes solid. runs good and actually has paint on it... but my heart lies with my LTD.. shes been around since i was little. never intended on driving that car at all.. but i have a lot of memories with her. once my dad said i could use it to learn how to drive.. thats when i knew shes where all my time and effort will go after my Merc gets repaired from this mess.

the LTD is my avatar if you were wandering

Drop the 351 from the LTD in the Merc and put a 460 in the LTD, power problem solved.

quick update... i picked the Merc up today and roughly 20-30 min drive home. pulled into the garage sprayed the manifold bolts down with liquid wrench penetrating fluid... i guess combined with the engine heat it was perfect.. because they all... yes ALL 16 loosened PERFECTLY!!!.. i am soooo happy i didnt have to cut anything.. now just the waiting game for the headers...

A few of us had some kind of older FoMoCo sedan to start, including me. I'm sure we all like to look, regardless

on another note. the manifolds are off and went flawlessly.. headers start their journey tomarrow from texas and let the welding begin!..
