Wheelbase is longer on the wagon than the sedan, just thought you should know.

Same wheel base. It's longer out back though so the frame will need to be cut and extended.

    Some frame discussion here,

If I had to do it again I would've kept stock dash and not mod the firewall.

I did find that they were the same wheelbase after scouring Wikipedia for dimensions and I have downloaded some diagrams, but havenít really started comparing measurements. I should only have to extend the tail end of the frame for support and bumper purposes, right? If so, do you recall there being enough similarities between the frames to use the wagon frame for this purpose? I appreciate the heads up on the dash, as I was considering taking a similar path that you took.

Rear of the frame is pretty much the same all the way to 2011 so you can chop off the back of the new frame and weld a section of your old frame in its place.

Rubber impact strips were starting to piss me off because one of them was peeling so off they go along with the push guards. I have a plan for eliminating the holes, will post an update once that's complete. I relocated the license plate to the center as well because I am OCD like that. No, I didn't drill another hole in the middle of the bumper. It's held in place on the bottom securely enough that another hole wasn't needed.

Hrm. I liked the front plate offset to one side, as it didn't clash with the bumper's lines, you know, the point in the center. Rub strip also looked great too as you've got a black car. Your car, your style though.

Hey Bean, looking forward to that bump strip remedy. I have a base model without the strips and personally think the smooth look is better.

Unfortunately mine are rusty and the only ones I'm finding are ones with strips so I may be going your same route. Do let's us know!

Not the body just front and rear clips.

I think the Ford nose & ass are the way to go, but prefer the '79-87 bits paired with the '88-91 bumpers & fillers. If I was a cool kid and could fabricate I'd find a way to shorten a '79-'87 set of bumpers as I also think they look better but the shitty thing is that they're not flush with the body.

Gonna have to do some spot weld breaking for the rear then. That CV trunk vs the MGM truck is way different in the last 6 inches.

I hope you are referring to this section. If so, I have the required donor sections.
