HIGHLY modded and ported explorer upper!

hey guys, I have an upper explorer intake for sale with egr internal plumbing that I have blocked off with 1/8" aluminum and center drilled dead center if you want to drill the inlet for egr use.

It has been cut open and very heavily ported, runners however are plenty big as is is so the runners have been smoothed out but not enlarged as it hurts flow velocity. The vee'd out runner mouths use 60% less energy to seperate the air much like pushing a steak knife straight down on steak vs sliding it at an angle, the mouths have also been sized equally and bellmouthed as much as possible.

The tb inlet is sized at 71mm for a 70mm tb and the entire inlet passage has been heavily ported, allowing you to open the tb entrance to 80mm and have the passage to support it, and I spent an additional 12hrs cutting out and putting in an aluminum high dome tunnel to gain substancial volume in the main inlet tunnel to reduce velocity, gain pressure, and gain plenum volume... This equates to a much more succesfull 180* turn and runner mouth filling. I spent allot of time on these intakes perfecting and getting the most out of them, this mod makes the biggest difference.

This intake dropped me a full tenth on a stock explorer motor, gains would be much higher on a modded motor while still looking like ford parts and out performing most aftermarket uppers for street engines.

It has been stripped to bare aluminum, primed, and 2 coats of engine enamel wrinkle paint which is very tough stuff. The plaque plate is made from aluminum and engine enamel clear coated. Th intake also been drilled and tapped with 3/8npt to accept the act sensor in the main tunnel inlet vs in the lower #1 runner. I do this to all my intakes to avoid heat soak of the sensor expecially with a phenolic spacer, and it doesn't interrupt the already hurting #1 lower runners flow with it relocated.

Price for this 1 is very cheep considering the 26hrs put into this one... $250 plus shipping. I am from canada but drive over to michigan to ship so its fast and cheep.
