Thanks a bunch man, I'm probably gonna do it later today after I get home from work. Gotta get that pig to pass inspection so my brother stops bitching about not having a car to drive.

inside the control module behind the glove box. Unplugging that will disable the entire SRS system. You HAVE to unplug the battery and let the caps in the module drain out for a few minutes before screwing with it though.

On a '90-'91 the module is to the left of the radio, accessed from the driver footwell.
As I said and has been reiterated: do not play with this system with the battery connected, and make sure you also get the airbag redundant power supply (the capacitor) beside your ECU. If you want to disable it, do it right and disable it in every possible way...I would be inclined to say that a potentially armable system with connectors dangling freely is quite dangerous.Last edited by kishy; 03-29-2014, 09:51 PM.

90/91 really were some bastard dashes.

I ended up taking the bulb and the dinger out so it wouldn't beep. Tried to get it inspected today and apparently the right rear shock blew a seal so I gotta put new ones in. Oh joy oh joy
