Back on the subject of my car...

Picked up a gear drive yesterday for $40, looks like I'll be taking my chain drive back! For that price, you'd have to be crazy to say no. I've always loved the sound of these as well. Along with everything else I've picked up, it'll all transfer if I choose to stay small block!

I'm defending your, and my engine. I for one fully support a 305 build, and would like to see what it can do.

Here's also how my old engine sat as of a couple nights ago, and the new engine before any disassembly!

Hope you plan to paint the engine light blue to match the other parts like the diff cover.

There is a blue Chevy engine color. Its kinda in between the Ford dark and light blue.

It's too tractor-y for me... Looks like it belongs in a barn. On the right vehicle it would look good, but not a fan of it for this car.

The painting process has already started, but I refuse to post pics until it's near completion!!

not gonna say I love chevy blue either, just offering it as a potential and correct option besides the typical orange. Better than black. Can't find oil leaks on a black engine.
