      ENGINE,FUEL
Been working on the fuel system. Tank is removed and 12 year old fuel gunk was rotted out by a radiator shop. Then I coated the inside of the tank. Fuel pump didnt run so found a replacement. Injectors were sent out to be cleaned and flow tested. 2 injectore and the cold start injector were off by around 25%. Now all flow properly. Fuel rails, cooling duct work for alternator and injectors, and exhaust heat shield are out being ceramic coated. Awaiting for some rubber mounting parts for pump and fuel filter.

Having removed the intake plenum / TB combo to access the injectors decided to paint it.

Color is a pink pearl base whith a candy red over it, final coat of clear.

Finaly after waiting what seems like 2 months got the parts my friend was ceramic coating for me. Just have to finish pollising them up and install. Do to waiting so long had to move the vehicle into another bay to get it out of the way of other work its now in the way of painting stuff though causing another issue. Because of the heat issues common wit hrear engine vehicles coated the fuel rails, heat shield for the exhaust manifold. The circular pice tith the elbow actualy is a cover for the rear of the alternator which recives air from the passenger side air vent to cool it. The tee hhaped piece is part of a system that blows air across the injectors too cool them. It hooked to a blower mounted in the trunk drivers side hooked to a thermostaticly controled switch.

Been working on finishing up the complete brake and clutch hydraulic systems when its raining and cant work on the Bird. Had to remove the drivers seat remove steering wheel and part of the shaft to get at and remove the steering column master brake and clutch cylinders. The leakage from the brake master turned the carpet from red to pink and white.
