My old man just gave me his car...truck? thing. It's front wheel drive but it's comfortable, relatively quick for a soccer mom car, and has AC/power everything and heated seats. Best free car I've ever gotten. Only free car I've ever gotten actually.


3.0 Duratec V6, he's owned it since 07 and always had it serviced at the dealer until it was out of warranty and then at a little independent shop since then. 81,000km.

Nope! No world cup. I spent my week in Quebec at Rockfest in Montebello or hanging out with my dad. He was doing renovations on his house so I helped a bit.


I passed right by you yesterday, didn't go into F'ton on my way home. New Brunswick sure is beautiful and I enjoy the 110 limit on the 2.


If you've ever wondered what 132 in a 100 zone just outside of Montreal costs, $197.


The truck drove great. I have a bad back and I drove at least 19, maybe 20 hours, and my back didn't bother me. A/C and cruise on a long trip is wonderful. Also, 6 CD changer that plays mp3s. Managed to knock down 27mpg with my somewhat heavy foot...I was between 90-140 most of the way. A few spots on the Trans-Canada are slower. Not bad considering it's rated for 23mpg highway.

I put together a wrecked 2008 for my wife also a V6. Got it with 5Kmiles. It has 26Kmiles on it so far and zero problems.

I recommend checking out all 4 brake flex hoses...they go bad a lot on these, FYI. Do all 4 and never worry about it again.

The front ones on this popped while my dad was driving down the road w/ a car load of people. We've had a few show up on the flat deck at work with no brakes because of 'em.

I've seen a couple with cheap headlight bulb connectors, easy fix though.

Overall, these are great vehicles!

I forgot my wife did manage to warp a set of rotors. If you saw my wife's driving you would excuse the warped rotors. She drives the steep hills like a rally when she is in a rush. I better check those hoses though.

The regional manager at my work has one for his company car, but the AWD version. It has like 250k miles on it and runs good, at least half of those miles are highway. Trying to get him to throw a Thrush glasspack in place of the muffler but he won't go for it, for now.
