Transmission pan leaking RTV?

    Yep, that's all there is to it. Before you undo the bolt and pull the tube clean any loose junk around the base of the tube. I wouldn't use any cleaner or anything just knock any loose stuff away from the hole the tube goes into on the trans.

      Where am I able to get the O-ring for the AOD dipstick tube

          Just a heads-up, the transmission dipstick is held in place by one of the bolts that hold the engine and trans together. You need a 5/8" socket for it, with at least one U-joint, and a LOOONG extension. May need to mess with the O2 sensor harness too, IIRC the connector is clipped to the tube's little bracket kinda in the way of getting to the bolt.

            No, unfortunately there's a wet spot on the ground right in the corner where the dipstick is

            o2 sensor, dang it. Some people here say it's a fairly easy thing to do and some say it's more cumbersome then that. I am hoping for the former!

              You don't need to pull the sensor, just unclip the harness from the dipstick tube bracket.
