WTB 1987 or Compatible Front Bumper Energy Absorbers

Trying to decrease the overhang of my front bumper by replacing the '89 bumper shock that's in there with the correct length one from an 87 or compatible. It looks like the '89 one might be a good two inches longer. (I don't really know for sure as I don't have them side by side to compare)

I'm guessing probably anything between 1980-1987 should work?
