2001 GM LS...Traction Control flashing and won't go above 45 mph...

This just started today. Now I have temporarily put 15'' wheels on the rear until tomorrow when I can get 2 new tires. Could that be causing it? Heard someone say the ABS sensor could be faulty/dirty. Thanks for any info.

Yeah, I don't think 15s were even available after '97, they are probably throwing something off horrible and causing your trouble.
    ,
Slicktop '91 GS HO 4.30 rear. '82 Mark VI Tudor HO, '90 F-150 XLT, '62 project Heep, '89 Arizona Waggin' and '88 donor in PA, getting combined.

I was thinking that. No sign of anything until we put them on. Getting two 16'' rears tomorrow.

So if I turn the TC in the morning it should be good until I get to the shop?

It was the smaller wheels causing it. Come to find out, one wheel on the rear is a 15" and the other a 16". My fault for not checking more closely when I bought the car. Found that out when they went to put the new tires on the rear. So for now she's got a 15" and a 16" but that's what she's always had with no problems. Just went with a taller 15".
