No number but yes standard to metric. I went to flaps and asked for a standard to metric brake line adapter.

I have two things that look like short brass extensions to get it done on my car. I want to say mine are female standard to male metric. Basically they just screw onto the end of the factory line, and the new brake line screws onto the adapter.
Shame on me, but I don't entirely remember if they are still on the car. The whole brake system was re-plumbed a few years ago when the later master cylinder went on and its possible we deleted them at that time since the master cylinder end needed to be metric flares anyway.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
