Anybody have a part # for the brake line adapter needed for the big brake upgrade.
    Standard thread to metric ?

No number but yes standard to metric. I went to flaps and asked for a standard to metric brake line adapter.

An independent flaps not an Auto-Zoned

The adapters I have seen were one piece brass fitting but the idea of using a custom short run of line is a good one.

I like the parts you used Jay. Nice and simple. Working great all around on my car too!

I have two things that look like short brass extensions to get it done on my car. I want to say mine are female standard to male metric. Basically they just screw onto the end of the factory line, and the new brake line screws onto the adapter.

Shame on me, but I don't entirely remember if they are still on the car. The whole brake system was re-plumbed a few years ago when the later master cylinder went on and its possible we deleted them at that time since the master cylinder end needed to be metric flares anyway.
