    If anybody would be making headers it would be me

    I just wanted to know if it was do-able with some modification to off-the-shelf parts. It would be trial and error until I found something I could make fit, so something like these might be an idea;

    The only review says they fit on his 84 Town Car.

      These might work but trans linkage set up is for a floor shift might be an issue with a column shifter set up.
      Hooker makes a set of shortys with a 3" collector for a fox body. Dont know alot about them

        I was thinking the same thing. They might fit or come real close on a 5sp car or 90/91.
        Probably cost a pretty penny though.

              They do look just like mine. As was mentioned I had to cut about an inch of the drivers side primaries and bring the back tube on the inside of the steering shaft. I also had a B&M shifter so I didn't have the stock linkage. Also didn't have an air box.

                      I got these Doug's Mustang tri-y's for dirt cheap, i was going to mod them to work in my box. I just have not gotten the build to the point of needing them, so i haven't taken that leap yet.

                        As far as I know USLYDAWG still has his car and runs it. Apparently someone here pissed him off and he won't come back. He calls me up about once a year when he is at a local car show

                              I'd think you'd need a very healthy engine to see a significant gain over shorties with longtubes, I couldn't tell you but I'd guess at least 400 crank hp and very few of us are making that. For most of us here, an Explorer engine with shorties is plenty of an improvement over the lopo. If you're going to the expense and time to build a 400+ hp engine, LT's aren't a big deal but not worth it for most of us.
