    Ah yes, hearkening back to the earlier GMGT days. Gonna be cool to see '88+ Grand Marquis fascias with the '87- lines!

      Put some 4.10 gears in it, keep it open diff. Twice the since you'll still have one good rear tire left and less chance you'll break the rear with less traction.

        That's a terrible idea. I love burning tires, but it's counter productive to do it everywhere I go. With a good amount of power, a stick, and a locked 3.73 I will have no problem burning tires. Trust me.

          This is the formula that I have in my GMGT, currently... works good

          1981 Mercury Marquis Brougham 2-Door 302/ 5-speed -special blend (GMGT)
          1987 Lincoln Mark VII 5-speed (Errand runner)
          1989 Mercury Grand Marquis (Base Runner)
          2007 Lincoln Town Car Signature Limited (Hustlyn)
          2011 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor (Down with O.P.P)

                  So, I jacked the car up to get a look at the transmission leak. Turns out, it is leaking real bad out the rear edge of the pan.

                  A gasket/filter/fluid looks like all I will need! The car acted like the trans was low on fluid, so this explains everything. Aside from the rust, this is good news!!!

                          1700 miles one way, and this thing isn't anywhere near reliable.

                          Plus, it doesn't have working heat or a/c.
