1983 Mercury Grand Marquis 2Dr "Mercules”

Well ladies and gentlemen, I am back in the panther game once again! After a two weekend adventure and concerns over movement and a lost title (Found and clear) I brought this gem home for 300 bucks! She's a diamond in the rough for sure, trans isn't working right and puking fluid (I think from around the pan gasket, not sure). There is a couple small rust spots I need to attend to, but nothing too bad.

He runs great, too! San Antonio car all it's life

Here's some pics from right after I cleaned up the Exxon-Valdez he left in the driveway of ATF...

Holy cow, that's a screamin' deal for $300! Interior looks super clean, and parts of it are even color coded to match the exterior. Really like how it doesn't have the ditch lights/cornering lights too. I think she'll make an excellent street machine.

          I really like tan interior.

Long term, I may stick to tan/peanut butter color. Very BMW-like

Oh, it has all 4 turbines. Three of the centers, though.

Somehow the notion of referring to box interior as being "BMW-like" makes me laugh.

Looks great Tom, steal at that price.

Always loved those early door panels.

Are the turbines savable at this point? Looks like the brake dust has been coating them for some time.

Nice steal on the car, BTW. Looks good for what its worth.

I won't keep them forever. I do like the way turbines look with RWL tires, but I am eventually going to get some Bullitts.
