    1/4 Window glass silver accent

Any older two door model owners have nice up close pictures of this unique detail? The actual glass has a stripe of silver bordering it. I;d like to replicate that onto my 87 as I like the detail of it. Is it vinyl, is it painted on? What is it?!

    Any help and pictures appreciated.

Here is one picture I have found regarding it to give everyone some reference:

I am not sure what it is. I will grab you a pic of mine in a bit. The Merks are different, though.

Any sorta info can help Tom. Appreciate it.

And it is interesting as that glass has no black privacy perimeter like mine does. The glass above is completely clear whereas mine has a black coating covering the entire outside of the glass.

Picture when the vinyl top was newly installed. You can see the black coating just inside of the trim.

I snapped a pic while I was out removing my headliner. What a nasty job, the foam fell all to hell!

wow the grand marquis ones are more detailed. Two line with different thicknesses.

Any clue on what the material is? or how it was applied?

            Thanks.
