I'd like to put snow tires on the 18s, and buy a stock set of 20s or 22s for summer.
And I'll pay the money for stainless steel exhaust. It's worth it.

Should buy some stainless pipe and stainless mandrel bends and have a system made, the Magnaflow catbacks on Summit are over $700.

The stock system ought to be stainless, and likely still under warranty for another 3 years.

Only thing I don't like about the Expedition (not sure if it's the same with the Navigator) but it didn't have a locker. I want a 2WD for the mileage and the Suburban has a locker standard, so I could get a 2WD Suburban and be set for winter.

It doesn't, but I have button for 4x4.
Plus I want 4x4 for winter. Last year just pissed me off.

                    Doesn't mean I can't find a locker for it.

My 99 Suburban doesn't have a locker, and it gets around fine in 2WD during winter. It'd just be nice to have, had to use 4x4 a couple times in unplowed parking lots that accumulated feet of snow. On the streets, it was a tank. With a locker and a bit more weight, I don't think 4x4 is needed at all. We don't get near the snow you do, so it's a bit different. You should put some blizzaks on the stock wheels, nothing could stop it.

Nice rig Ryan! Should do alot better for you in the snow.

I wouldn't worry about a locker. Especially with the L. Much like a Suburban, or station wagon, they have some heft over the rear wheels; that leverage works wonders. My dad had a GM B body wagon with a factory posi unit that was unstoppable even in really deap (for me thats 18") of snow. Same with an '88 2WD suburban my brother had. A 2WD shouldn't have been that good in the snow.

With 4WD, no worries. Love the color too.

I miss my Suburban. I gave it to my dad, and he won't give it back. The same guy who claimed he was fine with minivans and always would be, now he says he won't go back to a minivan.

Actually playing in a foot of snow now.
                            Acts like there's no snow.
I put it in 4x4, turned off traction control. It sent rooster tails of snow everywhere. I love it.
