    DRL override...

...which may negate the need to deactivate it via software.

Looking through the police modifiers guide for the 2008MY, I come across this with regards to the wig wag module and flasher (two separate items). Ground pin3 of the connector (at the front of the car) and DRLs and highbeams get overridden for wig wag operation. If you got DRLs and want to relay both high and lows, this may be one way to do it. Adding a relay to switch ground to the DDM is easy enough. If C1352 happens to be the 3pin connector at the front of the car, you got it easy.

Of course, the twenty thousand dollar question is: does grounding the corresponding pin on the DDM work on non-cvpi's? Might be a function of programming, but until we have a guinnie pig to try it out...

Further to this, if you don't want drls at all, you could use it to kill DRL's entirely, add a relay controlled by the highbeam switch to toggle the ground so you still have highbeam function when you flash to pass or activate highbeams.

[AK & AJ are permanently grounded AH gets switched 12 volts to activate that relay and ground the ddm]

    Alex.
