T'was a joke! Unless someone brings a convertible its roof mechanicals fail with the top down I don't really see much of an issue as far as planned activities go. Cruise can still happen, so can Jerry's museum, and I hear the garage is big enough for plenty of people to hang out inside nice and dry. The whole tent camping some of y'all got planned may be unpleasant to some extend, but that's assuming it actually does rain and thunder the whole time, which it likely won't. Besides Panthers make for excellent mobile hotel rooms, expect to burn less that 1/4 tank per night if you run the A/C which you probably should to deal with the hot and humid weather...

Thats days away. I wouldn't put too much stock in it. With as accurate as the forecasts around here have been, it could be anything from sunny and mild to a full on blizzard.

And there are mountains anyways, and the town y'all are looking up is on the other side of at least one, if not two of them with respect to where SF is held. So yeah, I'd say just plan for some rain but don't expect everything to be ruined by a storm that puts Sandy to shame.

It looks like my part time job is going to interfere with my attending this year.

If anyone wants to swing by Yonkers on the way down I can loan them a big cooler, or two, for the event. I can pick it up the next time I am down there so no need to bring it back.

I could use a guesstimate on how many hotdog/hamburger buns to grab from the thrift store on my way out of town.

Also, Thain, are we rocking out to vinyl again this year? I could bring a few. I got 3 3lb bags of chips (well sent my dad it was Senior Discount day Tuesday)

I can drag along a changer. I'll bring the nail protector and a spare just in case. Tried one year and I bent it. Skip does have a record player too, but its a one-shot affair. I can do at least 6 on a stack.

Changer in the car, and I packed some stuff into the milk crate to bring along. Now to re-load the ipod with some fresh stuff.

I've also got a layer of shit beer to bring along. I have leftovers from last year's boat beer and the beer I haven't consumed while not boating this year.

I'm not going to be there this year. But my beloved '89 Grand Marquis will be, so you can feast your eyes on my beige brick! Hopefully next SF I'll have her all up to snuff. Ivan's done an excellent job so far on the maintenance and upgrades. All the work that's going in to her will definitely help make up for the shit job the local body shop did on the paint; she assuredly drives better than she looks. Have fun mangs, and expect me next time around.
