      Nice to know. Something I always look at when buying a car is to see if the logos on all the glass match. Unusual to find original windshields on most cars.

        If possible, I request - even if it really doesn't matter, it's a nice to have.

        However, finding a bill for $180 for a new w/s installed on my 89 CP - that's cheap for Pilkington glass, installed! Pilkington and PPG are pretty good, as good as factory. Prior owner on my 66 Country Squire got a CarLite windshield with the blue tinted strip at the top.

            I got PGW for my 93 $160... Carlite would have been $220 at the time. I was kinda broke and went with the PGW. Come to find out later that PGW could be made by XYG. But it's not delaminating like the XYG did. So it's all good so far.

              Here in Canada is kinda expensive to buy new windshield, I paid 367.00 (all included labour and taxes). If I want carlite, could cost more than what I paid
