Holy Shit. Nice run!!! Welcome to another 97GM. I just installed some comp cams and a 3200RPM stall converter a few weeks ago. Still waiting for my tune to get fixed so I can run faster instead of slower than last year!!!! We usually have a meet at Union Grove every few months. Maybe you'd be up for the trip!

Took the 88 to Toronto Motorsports Park for its first trip to the track. Got 6 passes in. Best 1/4 for the day was 17.119 and best MPH was 79.25. Bone stock cept for TC fan shroud and washer bottle. Now I get to start changin stuff... Oh, and ignore my horrible reaction time. I'm working on it.

went again last night. nitrous worked perfectly, but i was having brake issues which prevented me form doing a burnout and bringing the motor against the converter.

Went back again with the 3.55's a limited slip. The track wasn't prepared right and no one was getting traction. A 2.051 60ft time isn't bad for street tires though.

                            My MGM

Here are the best time slips for my 89 MGM LS.Did the whole HO swap back in 98 & along the way added GT-40 heads ,Cobra intake.List of mods for these passes with GT-40 stuff is:HO cam advanced 4*,FRPP SSC headers,2/1/4" h-pipe with duals to the rear, underdrive pulley,,Baumann shift kit & 4.10's with a trac lock.Car has stock converter because I already have a Mustang race car & I use this to tow the Stang so I wasn't going to go crazy modifying it also.Car weighed right at 4100lbs with me in it.

                              Action shot of my MGM.

This is for anybody who is going to call bs on the above time slips. This was in June 04 when the corrected alt was 2500 above whereas the alt.on the Dec 03 passes was 1000 below that's why the slower et.Also when I bracket race I deep stage to cut a light so I'm giving up about a tenth in et there also.

                                Awesome, Eddie!

Might I ask what the car shifts at (rpm), and how you shift it (in drive, or manually)?

What do you mean by SSC headers?

                                And where do you race?
