Spanish for The Steel Panther? I think. My Spanish isn't that great.

Such a beautiful, clean car! I really hope I can get one that clean.

Paint code YF = Light Titanium Metallic

      "The Metallic Panther"

Thanks for all the love yall. The paint is in really good shape, but it's not perfect. Some scratches, dimples and dings in the doors. I'm building a shed in the back, so I can make room in the garage for another car. I'm going to need your help to make this run as good as it looks.

You've done well with this one good sir! Eerily immaculate dash pad despite the heat and UV exposure. Whoever owned it before you seemed like they cared for her decently well. And silver is an excellent color for just about any year box panther; the clearcoat really accentuates the nuances and body lines. Also you score bonus points seeing as how it's an LS trim car without the leather just like my '85. So you get some neat and mostly useful luxury features, but without losing the rugged and comfortable velour.

Thanks Hearse! I don't think it was exposed to sun much. Supposedly it was kept in the garage and sat for several years. The only thing that makes me question that is this...

Thinking these may have messed up from the sun? The windows aren't tinted so maybe it could have shined through on the back. The headliner is perfect.

Nah, if it was that bad the tops of the seats would be faded. That's some asshole kid or animal that did that. Pull the rear seat cushion and look for animal hair under it, bet there's a bunch.

Those C pillar panels are not too hard when it comes to replacing the foam lined fabric. Same as the headliner material. Just takes patience. I think just age plus a little help from the wind, asshole kid or pet.

Not necessarily live, but be in it for an extended period of time. I've noticed pets in cars as I'm walking through parking lots and unless they're in a cage they're all over the interior, slobbering up windows and clawing at the door panels and upholstery. Would take maybe 3 minutes of the dog's attention to do that.

That c-pillar issue I think is just a box panther thing. Almost every one I've looked at has those tears in the same spot. My crashed car has it like that, and 3 of the ones I "interviewed" before buying my new '90 had the same issue. I think it probably is a sun thing that makes that shit fall apart.

Those c-pillar sail panels are in great shape on The Ice Car but The Scab is worse than yours.
The Scab did spend time in AZ when the PO's grandmother owned the car, so I figured lots of sun/UV exposure was to blame. The Ice Car was originally from FL but probably didn't spend much more than a decade tops down there before moving to OH, then to MI and sitting in a barn for 6-7 years before I bought it.

No animal hair to be found. I bet it was from the sun. It's the worst where it's angled toward the back glass. I scratched another line in it with my finger so I'm guessing it's a little brittle. Im going to fix that.
