Defiantly sun damage. My 91 CVPI has the same problem as well as every 88-91 I ever seen. It's worse on the cars with the rear shoulder belts. Something about the shape of the C panel.

I did the vacuum lines and PCV trio this weekend. http://www.grandmarq.net/vb/showthre...intake-removal Man what a difference. Ready to move on... Those nasty c-pillars, window tint and a head-unit are in my sights, but I feel like I should address a couple more mechanical issues first.

Right now, the car will not start on the first crank if the motor is cold. Second crank she fires up every time. After it's been started once, the first crank does the trick until it gets cold again. Any thoughts? It has a new fuel filter. The fuel pump may be original.

Weak FPR or one-way valve in the pump. Let it prime (turn on, wait 2 seconds, then crank) and see if that sorts it. If so, either leave it that way and just allow more priming time or chase down the issue.

+1 on the fuel system draining down and/or priming up slowly.

My "new" car does the same thing. Once it's been started, it fires right up, but the fuel pump is pretty noisy. Already bought a Quantum 340 pump so that's going in soon...

Hmmm Tint looks good. I would copy you but it's illegal where I live. Does it help with heat from the sun?

The 35%? tint I have on my 93 works wonders with the sun. The biggest part is keeping the sun off the dash so it's not radiating heat forever while you drive and just poking you in the face with heat. A sun shade that shades the entire dash works 10x better than most tint.

Ceramic tint is for blocking UV heat rays. Its much better than normal tint. I have 60% heat blockage with ceramic, plus no dyes are used so it wont fade. There is no metal like in carbon tint so there is zero interference with BT or radio reception.

I hadn't heard of ceramic tint, but after researching it a bit and feeling it first hand in the TX heat, I am now a believer.
It costs more for sure, but this is my wifes town car and my 3 kids ride in the back. There is a ton of glass in this car (especially the back glass) and it gets really really hot.

25% is the legal limit for the front seat windows. All other windows excluding the front can be as dark as you want. I went with 15 all around because i didn't want two toned windows and if I were to have to remove some in the future, it will only be the front. Ill let yall know if it ever happens.

A sunshade for when you park? I am going to get one for my dash. Ive thought about a dash mat too but they are sooo freakin ugly.
