I would have to own a small garage just to service my own vehicles if I lived up there.

      Minor rust in the trunk.

There was some surface rust along the seam. Sanded, primed, painted and cleared.

        service up-date

        Work order:
-Check coolant level & top up.
-Tested battery for draw and traced it to the auto-start module, which was then removed.
-Replace valve stem on the driver's side front tire.
        -Install y-pipe.
        -Install rear coil-springs.
-Checked body for rust. Will need right rear rocker panel replaced to pass mvi in November.

I have the body repair appt set up for next week. Repair estimate was only $200. Same shop that fixed the rocker panel on my '90 Crown Victoria a few months ago.

Great deal. That is what I was paying for the driveway to be plowed for two storms. At least you have something to show for your money.

Got the undercoating done ($75) last week, when the weather was good. Winter tires will be installed, when I take it in for inspection in 2-3 weeks. If there's a snow storm, I can walk to work

The inspection was done a couple of weeks ago. Everything passed! Work order:
-Install new odometer gears (I ordered them from www.odometergears.com, back in October.)
-Check coolant level and top up.
                  -Oil change.
                  -Install new rear shocks.
-Install Winter tires (4th season of use but still lots of tread left.)

Good to see an aero still in daily use. They are getting unusual.

True! There's only 2 aero CVs, 1 aero GM and 2 aero TCs, which I know are still road-worthy in my area. Two of them are owned by an elderly collector, whom I've introduced myself to.

I was wrong about the Winter tires...There wasn't enough tread left, so the shop disposed of them. Work order:
-Install Summer tires and wheel covers.
                          -Oil change.
                          -Install new rad hoses.
                          -Top up coolant.
-Brake system flush. I took it back a few days later because there was still some air in the system. The brake pedal felt spongy.

There's a rust spot on the driver's side fender lip, which I'm planning to get fixed at some point this year. Inspection is good until 2022 but I'm not going to wait that long to get the bodywork done.
