    Front sway bar sizes

    Question
I pulled the front and rear sway bar off an 89 police Vic
To use on my 90 wagon.
Thinking the police one would be as big as the wagon, which I know the police one is solid and the wagon hollow and boy you can feel the weight difference.
But then this I find out
The wagon bar is 30.52 mm where the police one is 27.88mm
Is this normal for the police one to be that size?
    And for the rear
The police one looks almost twice as thick as the standard one on my wagon now.
    Didn't get measurements.

So if I swap the larger police rear bar, which front bar should I run?

Yes on the front bars. The wagon one is better because it's just as stiff but lighter. And yes for the rear... police is larger than the sniff of a bar they put on the civi boxes (sedans or wagons was the same I think). I'd keep the wagon front and use the police rear.

Depends on the suspension. If we're talking stock box front end, any box bar fits any box. If you have big brakes, anything up to 2002 fits, though it requires different end links.
