Your first fender picture seems a little worse than my passenger fender. Your third fender picture is better than my driver's side fender. I don't have the issue in your second fender picture. You can spray a bunch of rust inhibiting oil into the fenders to keep the rust at bay. There are fender liner bolts near the top of the wheel wells. If you take them out and bend the spray can straw into an S shape, you can shoot some oil through the bolt holes to coat the inside of the lip seam. Doing this while doing my steering and suspension stuff pretty much brought the rust in mine to a stop. I'm not going to worry about replacing them unless I happen to find some decent replacements (at which time I'd do the oxygen sensors if they make it that long).

Took it out for a few miles today. Actually, getting it to start moving forward and then the shift from first to second is the issue. The higher gears seemed to go fine. I had it up to 60mph and it was okay at that level.
