'07 P71 w/TR3650

Thought for sure I'd posted this here before, but apparently I don't visit much...or at all. Anyway, I bought a dumb thing in April.

Here is the dumb thing.

2007 Ford Crown Victoria P71 (ex-Westerville, OH vomit comet, converted by CVN member kurt)
TR3650
Modular Head Shop stage 2 cams
Kook's headers
underdrive pulleys
Flowmaster mufflers
Stainless Works X-pipe
3.27 Trac-lok
Tuned for 93 octane
270RWHP/299TQ
93k miles currently

'05 Marquis Ultimate leather seats (installed by me to replace the ricer buckets that were in it)
JVC head unit w/BT, XM, Pandora
Kicker speakers in the doors
8" sub in the rear deck
Kicker 125 watt amp
working cruise control!

Anyway, here are some pictures.

Meeting the Marauder for the first time, April 2016:

One of the car's two CVN Photo Challenge wins:

Seats installed by previous owner...mega uncomfortable and didn't match at all.

Here are the new ones...need some black door panels with heater buttons (from a Marauder, perhaps)...

The to-do list is growing:
-Exedy Mach 350 clutch (purchased)
-Ford Performance flywheel (purchased)
-Mercury Marauder exhaust tips (purchased)
-'13 Mustang GT wheels (purchased)
-TR3650 rebuild
-Heinous or Metco control arms
-fix the fast-blinker/repeated bulb burnout issue on the left rear

Here it is with the MGM...which I still have, meaning I have 3 dumb Panthers now.

Cool. Company I work for actually has a branch in Westerville. I also got a set of schematics for one of my old radios from some guy that lives there.

Looks like it could use a center console or something. Not sure if one really exists that will fit though.

I think there's an illusion in the picture with the black leather seats. That is a 50/50 bench out of a MGM LS Ultimate, so there is no room for a center console there.

I do need to consider carpet, and a shift boot to replace the damaged one I have since removed.

Seems like it'd be pretty fun, and nothing wrong with gathering panthers like lint, it happens. A box, though, certainly would round things out, work on it.

Dear Panthers,
I used a contractor's console with my 89 split bench. Worked fine.

I do love me a manual trans panther.

A Box never rounds anything out, with all those square edges anyway...
I have something in the works for spring 2017. That's all I can say right now.
