    My 1987 Mercury Colony Park

I bought this back in August 2015. Since then, I've upgraded the alternator, installed KYB monotube's all around, new front brakes (Centric Parts 106.02000 106 Series Brake Pads, Stoptech 127.61017L Left Rotor, Stoptech 127.61017R Right Rotor). I've also put in a newer radio so that I can at least play music that's not on cassette or through an FM transmitter. Small sub as well (Kicker Hideaway). Timing chain was also changed recently when all the coolant leaks were fixed. Next tax return, I may get the oil leaks taken care of if I can verify the compression is good on all cylinders. It's in amazing shape for having spent it's life in Illinois and has 186,000 miles.

Everything works, A/C was converted, rear window rolls down (though the upper latch needs regular greasing to keep it working). It even has keyless entry and remote start!

First picture is the day I got it and the other two are after I clay bared and waxed it.

I like da color. Ya know, they make stuff that does actually restore compression. I think it's called Restore lol. Comes in a silver can and they sell various sizes for the amount of cylinders your engine has. I think it was Cody The Car Guy who made a video about it which shows compression before and after using it.

The color is not often seen especially on a wagon. Looks good with the wood too.

You know you are not helping my burning desire to own an 86-87 colony park...

        What size tires are those?

Nice looking wagon! The rear deflector will compliment the back. Next you should get vent windows for the front doors!

            Beauty.

            I seriously need a wagon.

I see the drivers quarter (between rear tire and bumper) is starting to succumb to those Illinois winters. Pack the back side with oil to try an slow it down.

She is to pretty looking to start having rust holes pop up on you.

15x8 and I think 255-60(or 65) to my knowledge(stock steels with hubcaps are on it now), the problem with this wheel design is that the person who balanced them moved the weights in the front to clear the calipers and the rears are not. At the moment I cannot rotate them and because of that, came with a funny wear pattern (WA WA sound when you drive slowly and shake when highway cruising).

The stock steel wheels have cooper discoverer at3's and have worn much better. I'm thinking of selling the wheels in the pictures because I picked up some Lincoln LSC wheels (not the BBS knockoffs) and I want to put those on with some sort of summer tire. The drive to St. Louis with it was great except for the driveshaft vibration at 75mph.

Years ago when CVN was slightly less awful, and the St. Thomas Assembly Plant still existed we used to have yearly meets there.

Not a whole lot of color there. The boxes and marauders are the only cars that matter in that photo.
